| The Russian language learning collection is a
reference resource for teachers, translators and students of Russian
at all levels. Textbooks, grammars, readers and dictionaries are
available for browsing in the comfortable reading room of the
general reference library.
The library aims to hold a comprehensive set of Russian language
learning textbooks for use by teachers at school, adult education
and university level. There are also many modern reference works
on Russian grammar, syntax and vocabulary - from Wade's A
Comprehensive Russian Grammar to Bivon and Petrukhina's The
Russian Verb.
For students the large collection of Russian readers ranges from
intermediate level to annotated Russian classics. Audio recordings
include exercises and readings from Russian literature.
There is also an excellent selection of Russian-language dictionaries
for everyday use, including Ushakov, Ozhegov, the Oxford Russian,
and the Sovetsky entsiklopedichesky slovar'.
Finally, there is a small collection on Slavonic linguistics
and other specialist dictionaries. |
