The SCRSS Library holds a Russian language study collection of interest to teachers, translators and students of Russian from beginners to advanced level.

Russian language materials for teachers' use include a full range of course books from school to adult learning to university level. There are also modern reference works on Russian grammar.

The large collection of Russian readers ranges from intermediate level to annotated Russian classics. Audio recordings include exercises and readings from Russian literature.

There is also an excellent selection of Russian-language dictionaries for everyday use (Ozhegov and Oxford, among others), as well as specialist titles and encyclopaedias covering the arts, sciences and social sciences. There is also a complete set of the 1970s edition of the Bolshaya Sovetskaya Entsiklopediya.
